In this chapter (Jeremiah 35) God contrats the faithfulness of the Rekabites against the promise breakers from chapter 34. God is reminding us that he is looking for His people to people of faithfulness. The story of the Rekabites reminds us of the importance of leaving a legacy of faith for those who follow behind us.
