A Fall Spiritual Campaign designed just for you!

Starting October 6- for 8 weeks

What is a Spiritual Campaign at Highway?

A spiritual campaign is an opportunity for all the adults of the church to learn about the same spiritual topic at the same time. There is a gathering of momentum when we all focus our teaching and studying on the same topic for a period of time.

We invite you to join with others in the Highway family as we embark on an 8-week journey to grow our faith.
The Campaign has three components. (1) A Sunday sermon/teaching that kicks off the topic for the week. (2) A small group component, where we encourage you to join with others in what we call Connect Groups. (3) A weekly devotional reflection on the scripture of the week.

More about our topic "The Book of Colossians".

What we think about Jesus matters. Our perception of Him shapes us—what we say, how we treat others, and even what we believe. If we paint Jesus as any less than who He is as supreme over all creator and Saviour of the world, not only does our theology slip, but the working out of our faith also suffers.

This 8-week study, will take us through the book of Colossians to help us form a complete picture of Jesus. What we believe about Him influences everything from our corporate worship to our relationships to our attitude toward sin. Now alive in Christ, we can live a life worthy of God instead of falling back into the ways of the world.

Join a Connect Group

The best way to get the most out of this spiritual campaign series is to be part of a weekly Connect Group. In the small group settings, you will be able to view a short video about the weekly topic and then take some time to dig deeper into what it means.

We have designed a PARTICIPANTS GUIDEBOOK to walk you through this 8-week campaign.

Here are the elements you will find in your workbook.

Sermon Notes Page – Use this area to write notes from the Sunday Teaching/Sermon.

Weekly Scripture Meditation – This is designed to help you consider the main scripture passage of the week and record your thoughts about it.

Personal Reflection – This segment is designed to allow you to reflect on what God wants to say to you through the scripture and the teaching segments.
The end of this section will lead you to a “Live It Out” section where you can find a way to practically apply the teaching and put it into practice.

Connect Group Page– Use this space to make notes during your Connect Group teaching session.

You can get a copy of this workbook from the Welcome Centre in the Highway lobby after the morning service.
